About Me
My Background
I have been working for the state of Arkansas for almost 19 years. I have been married to the love of my life Rick for 17 years. Rick has been at his job with the local water company for almost 30 years. We love to travel, mostly cruises but I also love a great Road-trip. We have 2 grow children, Kristina and Austin. They are both starting families of their own, and we now have time to hit the road, the skies or the water and take adventures. We love to travel with our sweet rescue Hunter, and I am sure if you start following this page you will see lots of his pictures.
How I Got Started
Honestly vacations were not a thing as I was growing up, I never traveled outside the border states that touch Arkansas until I met Rick and was grown. After we were married we never missed a chance to take vacation and show Austin what we could with whatever little money we had. The first big trip we took him on was a cross-country road trip to see Yosemite, the Grand Canyon and the Coast of California. I will try and dig up some pictures of that adventure.
Top Destinations
Those who know me will think the answer to this will be a cruise. I do love cruising because you can see so many countries at one time. But if I am being honest my all time favorite trip was a very short all expense paid trip we got to take to Italy. We will go back one day!! Second is the trip we took this summer to Yellowstone National Park. I will be detailing that trip for you here and answer any question you might have.
